Academic Competitions

Every year during the month of February or March, Telugu Badi organizes academic competitions for children of all ages. These competitions are meant to bring out the talent in the children and give them a view into Telugu Literary and Cultural aspects.

Below are some of the competitions that are typically conducted. Depending on volunteer availability and time we may include more activities or reduce the activities.

Normally an announcement for enrolling in the competitions will be sent out about 3-4 weeks before the competitions start date. We try to conduct all the competitions on the same day to help with scheduling. Due to the pandemic this year, we plan to conduct the competitions via Zoom. Some competitions may be offline in nature. Please watch for more details when the competitions are announced.

Most of the competitions are conducted by Age group regardless of the child’s grade in Telugu Badi. Padam competition is the only competition that will be conducted at the Grade level due to the nature of the competition.
